About Us

AMT, Inc. was founded in 2007  by the owners of American Micro Tech and Highland Machinery Corp. to develop a new technology that could increase the life of batteries in underground mining transports.

Our team has over 75 years of experience in technology and manufacturing. American Micro Tech is a system integration company for industries, enterprises, and government, while Highland Machinery Corp designs and assembles heavy mining transportation.

We have developed a new technology called Power Hybrid Integrated Management System (PHIMS) that can significantly improve the fuel efficiency of vehicles and generators. PHIMS uses a supercapacitor to store energy from the ICE and then output it as needed. This results in a number of benefits, including:
